- The Phillips recess is a precision recess designed for better bit engagement resulting in less wobble or strip-out.
- The Pan Head design provides a larger load bearing surface for better holding power.
- The drill point screws begin with the best available materials and conform to strict manufacturing requirements in thread forming. Extra sharp threads mean screws will drive faster and will hold better.
- Self-tapping drill point is designed for quick penetration into heavy-gauge metal.

- Use a standard screw gun with a depth-sensitive nose piece and use extra caution when installing with impact drivers. Suggested screw gun specification for optimal performance - Size #8 - #10 up to 2,500 RPM.
- The Pan Head is fully seated when the bearing surface of the head is flush with the work surface.
- The fastener must penetrate beyond the metal a minimum of three full threads.
