- Grabber’s Pro-Fit™ # 2 Phillips recess is a precision recess designed for better bit engagement resulting in less wobble or strip-out.
- .40-in flat wafer head with nibs provides better holding power in cement board to wood or light gauge metal applications. Special nibs self-countersink as the screw seats.
- GrabberGard® 1500 hour exterior-grade coating provides additional protection against corrosion in most exterior applications.
- Alternating or high-low threads and an extra sharp 23° Streaker® point help Grabber cement board screws start faster and drive easier into wood or light gauge steel.
- Use a standard screwgun with a depth sensitive nose piece. Suggested screwgun specification for optimal performance – Size #8 - #10, up to 4,000 RPM.
- The head is fully seated when it is flush with the substrate surface.
- For metal applications, the fastener must penetrate beyond the metal a minimum of three full threads.
- Overdriving may result in failure of the fastener or stripout with the substrate.
