- The Phillips recess is a precision recess designed for better bit engagement resulting in less wobble or strip-out.
- The modified truss head design provides a larger load bearing surface for better holding power.
- NanoGard™ exterior-grade coating provides additional protection against corrosion in most exterior applications.
- Self-tapping drill point is designed for quick penetration into heavy-gauge metal.

- Use a standard screw gun with a depth-sensitive nose piece and use caution when installing with an impact driver. Suggested screw gun specification for optimal performance - Size #8 - #10 up to 2,500 RPM, Size #12 up to 1,800 RPM; however, 2,500 RPM may be used provided care is exercised to minimize influence of high heat buildup due to surface speed (see ASTM C1513, Table 5, note C).
- The Modified Truss head is fully seated when the bearing surface of the head is flush with the work surface.
- The fastener must penetrate beyond the metal a minimum of three full threads.
- Overdriving my result in fastener failure or strip out of the work surface.
- For heavy gauge steel-to-steel attachment 43 mil (18ga) or thicker.
