Flame Fighter, E-Z Tape's patented fire tape, works for both wood and steel construction. Using an easy mudless application, Flame Fighter can be applied directly to clean drywall. You can apply our fire tape in temperatures as low as 30 degrees Fahrenheit.
E-Z Tape has passed full scale tests for one-hour and two-hour rated, vertically or horizontally hung wall systems, using fire-rated gypsum board (not rated for ceilings). Since 2002, E-Z Tape's fire tape has been rated for use in fire wall construction in the United States and Canada.
